What We Collect

Website

When you visit authgrid.io, we may collect:

  • Technical data - Browser type, operating system, IP address

We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not track individuals across sites.

KeyForge Devices

KeyForge devices operate entirely offline. We do not collect:

  • Credentials stored on your device
  • Master seeds or private keys
  • Authentication events or usage patterns
  • Any data transmitted during WebAuthn operations

Your security key is yours alone.

KeyForge Team Pro Sync Server

If you use KeyForge Team Pro with our hosted sync service:

  • We store encrypted credential metadata only
  • Encryption keys are derived from your team code (which we never see)
  • We cannot decrypt your credential data
  • We log sync timestamps for operational purposes

Self-hosted sync servers are entirely under your control.

Contact Forms

When you contact us, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name (if provided)
  • Message content

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry.

How We Use Data

  • Website analytics - To understand how our site is used and improve it
  • Support requests - To respond to your questions
  • Operational logs - To maintain service reliability (Team Pro hosted)

We do not:

  • Sell your data to third parties
  • Use your data for advertising
  • Share your data except as required by law

Data Retention

  • Website analytics - Aggregated, retained indefinitely
  • Support emails - Retained for 2 years, then deleted
  • Sync server logs - Retained for 30 days

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access - Request a copy of data we hold about you
  • Deletion - Request deletion of your data
  • Correction - Request correction of inaccurate data
